AMANDA RANFORD BSc. Occupational Therapy, Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association)
Amanda graduated from university in 1994. She initially worked in the UK as a locum doing a variety of burns, plastics and orthopaedics before entering a dual managerial/clinician role developing a hand therapy department. Back home Amanda was the manager of the Geraldton Regional Hospital OT department, where she developed the hand therapy caseload, before working in both private practice and the public sector in Perth. Amanda is passionate about tendon repair rehabilitation, arthritis and splint making. She has a developing interest in the rehabilitation of complex wrist injuries and paediatric fracture management.
BETHANIE TREVENEN BSC. Occupational Therapy, Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association)
Bethanie has been working in the area of hand therapy since graduating in 1999. During this time she has worked in several private hand therapy practices in Perth, as well as working overseas as a hand therapist. She also enjoys her teaching role at Curtin University, teaching both undergraduate and masters students in the area of hand therapy for the past 12 years. Whilst specialising in the area of orthopaedics for 13 years, she also has a special interest in the area of plastic surgery, especially tendon rehabilitation. She is passionate about striving for patients to return to their pre-injury roles and lifestyle.
KELSEY HASKELL BSC. Occupational Therapy, Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association)
Kelsey has been working at Inhand Occupational Therapy since 2013. Her prior clinical experience involved private paediatrics, inpatient aged care rehabilitation and an orthopaedic caseload within the private hospital environment. Kelsey has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of hand and upper limb conditions. She has a particular interest in the management of arthritic conditions and enjoys treating sports injuries. She has a special flair for splint design and construction and enjoys this area of practice.
CHARLOTTE CUNNEEN BSc. Physiotherapy
Charlotte is a Physiotherapist that graduated in 2005 in the United Kingdom, working there for 5 years before moving to Perth. She has extensive experience working in plastic surgery, orthopaedics and upper limb rehabilitation. During her travels she has worked in hand centres overseas, interstate and in Perth, drawing on a wide depth of expertise to compliment her practice. Her key interests include tendon rehabilitation, nerve re-innervation and the management of pain disorders.
SUSAN STINTON BSC. Physiotherapy, Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association)
Susie is a Physiotherapist that graduated in 2005. She is a Certified Hand Therapist with experience working in the upper limb sector in both public and private clinics; in Perth, London and Sydney. Alongside her clinical caseload she is also undertaking a postgraduate research Masters degree with her thesis on the functional recovery and driving performance following wrist fractures. She has published two scientific articles in International academic journals.
ELISHA STEFANELLI BSC. Occupational Therapy
Elisha graduated in 2005 and worked in the UK in stroke rehabilitation, general medicine and home visiting before moving back to Perth to work in a private hand therapy clinic. After leaving the profession to have a family she has returned to hand therapy to pursue her passion for hand and upper limb rehabilitation and splint fabrication.
LINDA CANTY BSC. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, ACCREDITED HAND THERAPIST (AS AWARDED BY THE AUSTRALIAN HAND THERAPY ASSOCIATION)
Linda is a Certified Hand Therapist who graduated in 2012 from university in the Netherlands. During her Dutch university training she completed a placement in hand therapy in Warrnambool, Victoria which sparked her interest in living in Australia. After graduating she worked in hand therapy in the Netherlands until she moved to Townsville, North Queensland, in 2015. She relocated to Perth in 2019 and with her combination of Dutch training and Dutch and Australian clinical experience Linda brings diversity to the team at InHand and enjoys sharing knowledge and learning off her colleagues. Having worked in both public and private practice she is experienced in most hand and upper limb conditions and has a special interest in hand trauma and rehabilitation of the wrist.
RACHEL CAMERON BSC. Occupational Therapy, Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association)
Since graduating with first class honours in 2011 Rachel has worked in both the private and public sector in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. As a strong advocate for evidence based practice, Rachel has been involved in a number of empirical research projects and has held tutor and lecturer roles at Edith Cowan University. With a balance of practical experience and an evidence based approach, Rachel is a well-rounded practitioner. In addition to her role at InHand, Rachel works part time at Perth Children's Hospital, managing a caseload of paediatric congenital and acquired hand and upper limb conditions.
RINA ETO BSC. Occupational Therapy
Rina graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2015. Rina has previously worked in the community disability sector and public hospital setting. Her passion for anatomy, continuous learning and evidence based practice led to pursuing a career in hand and upper limb therapy, joining the InHand team in 2018. Rina has a particular interest in fracture management and splint fabrication.
TEAGAN MALONEY BSC. Occupational Therapy
Teagan graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Curtin University and was inspired to pursue hand therapy during her studies. Her keen interest in learning from experienced therapist’s led her to joining the InHand team in 2020. She has a passion for splint fabrication, anatomy, and hand/upper limb rehabilitation to assist patients to get back to pre-injury roles and activities and is developing an interest in ligament injuries. She brings a natural warmth and energy to the team, enjoys providing client centred care and building strong rapport during the therapy process.
